Das Thema Computerspiele wird von Politik und Medien häufig noch sehr stiefmütterlich behandelt. Es sind ja nur Spiele zum Zeitvertreib. Oder schlimmer: es sind sogenannte Killerspiele, also Shooter, bei denen man Menschen töten muss, um an das Ziel zu kommen. Dieses sehr verkürzte Verständnis täuscht darüber hinweg, dass es allein in Deutschland 34,3 Millionen ComputerspielerInnen gibt; dass 2021 9,76 Milliarden € Umsatz mit Computerspielen und Hardware umgesetzt wurden (https://de.statista.com/themen/1095/gaming/#dossierContents__outerWrapper). Viele Hinweise darauf, dass Computerspiele das Leitmedium des 21. Jahrhunderts sind. Spielt ihr manchmal Videospiele? Denkt ihr, sie könnten zum Leitmedium werden und ist das überhaupt wünschenswert?
