  "Really enjoyed the workshop from Kafai. Good discussion of creating 2D art from 3D life. I found the sharing and discussion of attendees' photos particularly useful. I think the abstract composition exercise would be more useful if there was a discussion on how to translate it into photos (other than still-life). In real life, how does the photographer manipulate his surroundings or position himself to optimize the scene's objects? Thanks Kafai!"

Though I am photographing for quite a while, I really got some new take-aways for me for my image composing practice. We had also a short live remotes practice with arranging shapes inside a frame so that it looks attracting and discussed them with rules learned."

  "Kafai took us through a very clear presentation of the basics of photography, including aperture, shutter speed and ISO. The excellent illustrations (many of which Kafai's own photos) really helped in picking up quickly on the importance of each of these settings. We spent some time practicing outside with our cameras - I enjoyed being able to make my first panning shot. Highly recommended workshop!"
